Set up takes about a minute in Chrome, Edge, Brave or any Chromium browser on your computer.
- Download and unzipUnzip the file to get a folder called
fillmate-extension. - Open your extensions pageBrowsers can't link there directly, so copy this into your address bar.
- Turn on Developer modeUse the switch in the top-right corner of that page.
- Load unpackedClick "Load unpacked" and choose the

Will FillMate submit forms for me?
Never. It fills the fields you approved, and you always press submit yourself.
What can it see in my browser?
Nothing by default. It asks for access to a site only when you click "Scan this page" there, through Chrome's own permission prompt.
Why isn't it on the Chrome Web Store yet?
The store review is in progress. The download here is the same extension, and once it's listed you can switch for automatic updates.
Chrome warns about Developer mode extensions. Is that OK?
Yes. Chrome shows that for any extension installed outside the Web Store. You can dismiss it.
How do I update FillMate?
Download the latest zip, unzip it over your fillmate-extension folder, then click the reload icon on FillMate's card at chrome://extensions.
